Architectural Accessibility<\/span>\n <\/h2>\n

The Rectorate Building of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, located at Poniatowskiego Street 15.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

The Rectorate building has two entrances located in the central part. The main entrance is located on the front wall of the building, directly facing Poniatowskiego Street. Behind the main entrance doors, there are stairs leading to the first floor (ground floor). On the right side of the stairs, there is a platform for transporting people with disabilities who use wheelchairs. On the left side of the stairs (ground floor), there is a security desk. The second entrance is located at the rear wall of the building, facing the internal courtyard of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration Hospital. This entrance is primarily for evacuation purposes in case of fire or other local hazards. Wheelchair access is available. The building is equipped with a passenger elevator (with Braille buttons). Currently, there are no designated parking spaces for people with disabilities.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

All floors are accessible for wheelchair users, except for the basement. A restroom for people with disabilities is available on the ground floor of the building.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

The building and all its rooms are accessible with an assistance dog or guide dog.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

The building does not have induction loops.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n
