A meeting of the Sustainability Team of the JAPreventNCD project was held on May 7, 2025 in Reykjavik, Iceland and online. We sincerely thank all participants for their active participation!
The event was also attended by representatives of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice:
• Katarzyna Brukało, PhD - Project Coordinator of JA PreventNCD,
• Ilona Hajok, PhD,
• Mariusz Miśkiewicz, PhD - Deputy Chancellor for Research Activities.
The session featured an inspiring presentation by Caroline Costongs, EuroHealthNet Director, on building a European Health Union and the role of the JAPreventNCD project in public health promotion across Europe.
They also discussed the key issues related to the concept of the Wellbeing Economy and updates on the work of the Youth Advisory Group were presented. All of these topics are extremely important for shaping healthier and more sustainable societies.
The meeting was held just before the start of the Wellbeing Economy Forum.
